Privacy

Scope

This policy covers evrimmete.com and the applications published by Evrim Mete Öztürk as an independent developer. Where an individual application handles data differently from what is described here, that application ships its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing or website, and that policy takes precedence for that application. This website

This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no forms, no comment system and no shopping cart. It does not set cookies, does not run analytics, does not store anything in your browser, and does not track visitors across sites.

Typefaces and scripts are served from this site; nothing is loaded from Google or any other third party.

The “Break the Wi-Fi” demo plays a public-domain piano recording served from this site and simulates its network entirely in your browser. It uses no microphone and sends nothing anywhere. The evorift demo and the two playable Scratch games are also served from this site and run in your browser; nothing is loaded from Scratch. One thing loads from another site, and only when you press its button: the Synfonos web app (from synfonos.com, see its policy). Videos are served from this site; YouTube is only linked, never embedded. Links to synfonos.com, GitHub, LinkedIn and YouTube take you to those sites, and their own policies apply there.

The hosting provider that serves this site (Cloudflare) may keep standard server access logs for security and reliability purposes, in line with its own policies.

Applications

The principles below apply to every application published under this developer name.

• Data stays local by default. Application settings, project files and generated output are stored on your own device unless a feature you explicitly start requires otherwise.
• No advertising, no data brokering. Personal data is never sold, rented or shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
• Least permission. An application requests only the permissions its features actually need, and each permission is requested at the point it is used.
• Local features stay local. Where an application connects your own devices (for example, audio from a phone to a computer) that traffic goes device to device and is not routed through a server operated by the developer.
• Diagnostics are opt-in. Crash reports or diagnostic logs are sent only if you choose to send them, and are used only to fix the fault they describe.
• Third-party services. If a feature depends on an external service, the application names that service before the feature is used, and that service’s own privacy policy applies to the data it receives.

Children

These applications are not directed at children under 13, and personal information is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of these applications, contact the address below and it will be deleted.

Your rights

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and the GDPR where it applies, you may ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or ask for a copy. Requests go to the contact address below and are answered within thirty days.

Because most data in these applications never leaves your device, deleting the application or clearing its data directory removes it. Where server-side data exists, a deletion request removes it from the developer’s systems.

Security

Credentials, tokens and stream keys used by these applications are stored on your device and are never written to source repositories, documentation, or error reports. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and no absolute guarantee of security can be given.

Changes

This policy may be updated as applications change. The date at the top of the page records the last revision. Material changes affecting how personal data is handled will be announced in the release notes of the affected application.
